Hi there!
I'm Lisa and welcome to Bluebird Collage. My plan is for this blog to chronicle my adventures as a collage artist. Needlework has been my main form of creative expression for a very long time. I knew it was time for a change, though, when I walked into an art supply store and felt energized by all the papers and stamps and possibilities I saw! Coincidentally, a week or so before that I was in my local needlework store and felt flat and bored; the exact opposite of my art store experience. I'm thrilled to be able to stretch my creative muscles in a new direction and hope that my blog will be entertaining to you and maybe even helpful.
Other things to know about me...I was born and raised in Lexington, KY and have lived in TX for over 20 years. I'm married to Jeff and "mother" to Sam, the most adorable Boston Terrier ever created. I graduated from the University of Kentucky and in my professional life I am a special education teacher. I'm also a foodie who loves to embrace a good meal!
